How much notice do I need to give for a booking?
You can book online up to 1 week before your date, if you're booking within the week, we kindly ask you to contact us directly to arrange - we can take bookings up to the day before your date but this is dependent on availability, route plans and staff rosters. We also get quite busy, particularly from March - June with Communion & Confirmation Season, so we highly recommend booking as early as possible to avoid any disappointment.
How much do your castles cost?
All of our castles are individually priced and pricing can be found one each product page on our website. Please note, these prices are for private home use / private bookings in venues only. For public events, corporate events, field days etc prices may vary and we ask that you contact us directly to plan for these types of events.
Can I book single day hire?
If you are booking for a Friday/Saturday/Sunday it is a two-day minimum hire on weekend days unless you are booking for a venue (i.e: a community hall/pub etc) or indeed if you are booking for a corporate or community event. Single day options are available Monday - Thursday only for private home/garden bookings. Our weekend hire is charged at two day hire price and is delivered Friday & collected Monday.
Do you charge for delivery?
We do our best not to charge for delivery, however some areas do incur a delivery fee, please see our delivery page for more details and to check out your area. We are based near Mullinavat, Co.Kilkenny and cover Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford and Tipperary. We do venture a little further afield to areas in east Cork, Limerick & Wicklow, but these areas incur a delivery fee.
Please note we have tried our best to avoid charging delivery to as many areas as possible, the areas listed with an Asterisk incur a €25 OR €50 delivery fee. Any area that incurs a delivery fee is strictly a two day minimum hire, no single day hire can be booked for these locations, and no indoor / venue bookings are accepted for these areas either. Please ensure you select the right area when making your booking, if not, we will have to contact you to add on the delivery fee the next working day.
Do you charge more in Communion/Confirmation season?
No. Our inflatables and fun food machines are the same price year-round, other than some special offer dates or midweek offers from time to time, when they are available at a reduced rate.
What deposit is required?
We require a non-refundable €25 deposit to secure all bookings. Please note, bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is paid. We can send you a secure payment link to make this payment. Or if booking direct with Megan over the phone/through email/what's app and you'd prefer to pay through Revolut, Paypal, Bank Transfer, you can do so.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date within the year if your booking is cancelled a minimum of 24 hours prior to the hire start date*, any cancellations that occur less than 24 hours prior to hire start date result in a loss of deposit.
*for the month of May the cancellation policy is as follows:
deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date if the booking is cancelled a minimum of 7 days prior to the hire start date, any cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the hire start date during the month of May result in a loss of deposit.
When do I pay the balance due on my hire?
All outstanding balances must be paid before the inflatable or fun food machine is set up. You can pay any time prior to the hire using a secure payment link, by Revolut, Bank Transfer or through Paypal. You can also give the driver cash on arrival. Regardless of how you would like to pay, payment must be made in full before any set up will take place.
I have a voucher, how can I use it?
Woohoo, you lucky duck - aren't gift vouchers a fabulous gift! Anyway, for gift vouchers, we prefer if you give us a call, text or email us to make your booking using your gift voucher. This allows us to verify your voucher number, and apply it to your booking form the start, meaning you don't need to pay a deposit either - this keeps it simple for payment, balance due and all those nitty gritty details. Voucher Ts & Cs are: vouchers cannot be used in the month of May, on bank holiday weekends, or in conjunction with any other offer/voucher. If you are unsure about anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
What is included in the hire?
We provide the leads, blowers and equipment for the inflatable and safety mats where needed, delivery is included free of charge for most bookings, however some areas do incur an additional delivery fee. Please see our Delivery page for more details and to check your area. We guarantee a clean, safe and top quality inflatable / fun food machine hire.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are part of the IIHF and are fully insured, proof of insurance can be provided on request.
What kind of sockets do you need for a bouncy castle?
All of our inflatables and fun food machines use a normal 13amp household socket. We don't recommend the use of extension leads, and we bring long leads to help avoid the use of extension leads.
What to do in preparation for delivery of a bouncy castle?
Please make sure that the area is free from garden toys, swing sets, gardening equipment, furniture and please make sure there are no sharp objects including stones in the area that the inflatable is being set up. Please also make sure the area is free of rubbish and pet excrement. Please make sure to do all of these things before our team arrives, as they will be on a schedule and won't have time to wait 10-15 minutes for these tasks to be carried out, especially in the busy periods.
Can the inflatable be set up on gravel or concrete?
Inflatables cannot be set up on any type of gravel, however some patio/concrete surfaces may be allowed with use of sandbags to secure the inflatables - please contact us directly to discuss before making any bookings online.
Can the inflatables be set up indoors?
Yes. We provide inflatables for indoor parties at venues such as local community halls, sports centres, etc. Please check with your local hall that they allow bouncy castle hire prior to making a booking with us, as not all venues allow them. The cost for hire of an inflatable is the day hire rate, even if your party is only 2 hours, this is because our insurance costs are quite high and the cost of staff required and delivery, set up, take down and collection of the inflatables is the same for us whether the client uses the inflatable for the entire day or just a few hours. We have also tried to keep our prices reasonable since the beginning so we hope you understand that the day hire price is the minimum fee.
Please note any area that incurs a delivery fee is strictly a two day minimum hire, no single day hire can be booked for these locations, and no indoor / venue bookings are accepted for these areas either. Please ensure you select the right area when making your booking, if not, we will have to contact you to add on the delivery fee or cancel the booking.
Can you take castles through the house to set up in a back garden with no street access/side entrance?
Ideally, the answer is no, not really, a lot of the bouncy castles and in particular the obstacle courses and large slides will not fit through your front door/interior doors of the house. The other issue is that if the castle gets wet during the hire, when its rolled back up and loaded on to the hand truck, the rain water trapped inside the castle, starts to drip out, on your floors and carpets. If you don't have a side gate /street access, please contact us to discuss your options.
